Great Italian Restaurant 7/20/2009

Just went for dinner and had to write about the tableside preparation of homemade mozzarella cheese! All I can say is AMAZING!! This is a GREAT place!! more

Great sandwiches for quick lunch and great itallian food for sit down dinner 5/23/2008

I travel the U.S. and this was reccomended to me and I went for lunch and had a sandwich for lunch and it was so good i had to go back for dinner. Very authentic itallian I would not reccomend going to the resturant part for lunch it is very good but a little time consuming. The deli is very efficient and has great sandwiches and if you like pizza you can get a couple slices. They also have spumoni ice cream (my favorite)! They have lunch specials that are very reasonible! I would highly reccomend this place I have been three times this week and taken co-workers and everyone was empressed! Pros: Deli very accessible and quick, great food, good prices. resturant great food,atmosphere Cons: Resturant a little slow if you only have a 1hr lunch more

Wow! This Is REALLY AUTHENTIC!!!!!!! 10/3/2006

Wow! Ithought I was back in Italy, Jasper's has to be THE BEST ITALIAN restaurant I have been to. I had the shrimp appetizer and it was to die for and the osso bocco fell off the bone it was so moist. For dessert, they have this strolling dessert cart that looked like an masterpiece, I ordered the bread pudding and my husband had the ricotta tort, WOW!!! Pros: The patio overlooks Indian Creek, ask to be seated there!!! more

I thought the ambiance was very nice, and the bread they serve with the meal was really good. The food, was okay, but not excellent. I have lived in Italy before, so I had high expectations. It definately could have been better. The meal I got was one of their signature dishes and it was okay. It was suppose to have Prosciutto di Parma in it, I think it might have had one little chunk of prosciutto. I was disappointed. Pros: good ambiance Cons: food is okay more

Easily Best Italian 6/13/2005

Once again, another amazing and overwhelming Italian experience. The food was superb and the staff was very accomodating. Jasper Jr. is a true, all around chef, visiting with his customers and making sure every plate that leaves his kitchen is of the highest quality. By far, the ONLY Italian in Kansas City. Well done. more

This is Italian! Not like others with too much emphasis on what people think is Italian. The food is the same as the old, the prices better, and the atmosphere casual. Jasper has done the best with what was already the best! Pros: service, desserts, pastas more

This is IT! Italian at it's FINEST! New York, San Francisco, Boston, all have their BEST! Thank goodness we have JASPER'S! This is a treat that is enjoyed by us at least on a monthly basis!!! Pros: Reasonable, Catering Employees, Special Occasion more

Fantastic food prepared in the Southern Italian/Sicilian style. Vast menu with plenty of antipasti, pasta and meats (veal,chicken,fish,pork) all prepared in different exciting ways. I lived in Southern Italy for 3 years and this place more than any other I have visited in the US, reminded me of the fare and quality I experienced there. Try the $24 Ruffino Libaio Chardonnay. Pros: Nice booths, Good house salad, Excellent bread more

Jasper's food over the years is like old wine. The older it gets, the better. The food there is beyond wonderful. It is exceptional. The service is right up there with the food. Keep up the terrific work. I can't wait to come again. more
