I got an estimate for gutters from Phillips, and they never said anything about their power needs. I had arranged to take the day off following the installation so I could touch-up the house, but they canceled at the last minute because they couldn't reach the power outlet. I wasn't going to schedule with them again because it really messed up my own schedule, but they convinced me to follow through. The job was eventually done well except for the gutter straps. The were hand cut, jagged, applied slap-dash with the sharp corners exposed, and they insist it's up to their standards and the industry standards. It looks junky, frankly. \r

They have one person there who just should not be allowed to communicate with customers. When I emailed pictures of the straps from neighbors' gutters, he actually tried to obscure the issue by talking about how they were badly installed. I frankly don't care if they were drilled into the mortar instead of the brick, we were talking about the nice, smooth, professional appearance. I guess my caution would be if you're a woman, go elsewhere. They will definitely try to treat you like you're an idiot.
Pros: The gutters themselves look nice.
Cons: The straps holding up the downspouts look like garbage.
