Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. Myself and two friends, (ages 19, 19, and 27) have decided we're going to go out to eat somewhere different every week, a different country if we can. We've had a couple misses, but this place was definitely a hit!
This is the first time I had sushi, and I was a little apprehensive but determined to keep an open mind and have no expectations. My friends and I all ordered different things, and split a spider roll and dumplings as appetizers. We always eat off each others' plates when we go somewhere new, and we were pleasantly surprised when the servers set down our orders and then proceeded to fill every available space on the table with a tiny serving dish containing a sampling of several different items. At first we assumed it was the side to one of our dishes, and when we asked who's it was, were told that it was for all of us. Awesome! I'm still really pleased about that. So I got to try a little of everything, and other than something called a sea mushroom, which had the texture of a trashbag, everything was SO GOOD!! They serve Japanese, Korean, and Chinese fare, so you get a lot of variety and a lot of choices.
The only thing that was minorly - very minor - disappointing was that they didn't ask us if it was our first time and didn't really take any time to educate us. Thus, we were left to figure things out. (It's a personal belief of mine that if you have a niche business, you should always ask visitors if they are familiar with things.) However, the menu is very descriptive, and colorful pictures accompany many of the dishes. Oh, and it's a 10-page menu. May have been 12, I didn't count.
Also, the prices were great. We had two appetizers, an entree each, and we chose the pricier options, some of their choices are as little as $4 - and all those little samples, for which I didn't see an extra charge, and it all came to $52 and some change for three people. Less than you'd pay at Applebees, and WAY better.
Pros: Everything tasted great, and the prices were fair.
Cons: They could have done a little more explaining.
