I took my RV in on 8/3/09 because it was sluggish, had oil on the top of the motor, and the leveling jacks were difficult to get to go up. they charge me $299.00 to test drive it, run the jacks up and down, and replace a spark plug wire. they then told me the engine was ""going south"" and gave me an estimate of $9,600.00 to install a new engine. (the RV has 41,000 miles) I took it home replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, and PCV valve ($59.00) I drove it 370 miles to the lake of the ozarks and back, it ran great, did not leak a bit of oil and does not need a new engine. I believe that this kind of buisness happens to often when auto shops think patrons do not know any better, fortunatly for me I have alot of mechanical experiance and only took it to them because I really did not have the time to do the work myself. ( I made the time after their diagnosis)\r
I HAVE TAKEN THREE VEHICLES TO KOHRS IN THE PAST AND HAVE SPENT OVER $2,000.00 WITH THEM BUT WILL NOT GO BACK AND WOULD CERTAINLY NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE AGAIN
Pros: This is a covenient location,
Cons: they charge for their time to give estimate
