I am Dr. Kenny's daughter and I have been working at her office for the past 6 months. I've always known that my mom is extremely dedicated to her job, but working as her employee has given me a whole new respect for her and how incredibly hard she works. Dr. Kenny makes the comfort of her patients her number one priority, from the chairs that the patients lay in, to the fresh smell of the office. Her office includes state of the art technology with the most comfortable chairs a patient could hope for, 20"" flat screen TVs for patients to watch TV or the procedure as it is happening and leather sofas in the lobby with snacks and water. She makes sure that each procedure is ""minimally invasive"" by being conscious of how her hands are placed in the patient's mouth (it certainly helps that she has little hands....When you think about it, how uncomfortable would it be to have a male dentist sticking his big hands in your mouth?). The office always smells of fresh candles to keep from having a ""dentist's office"" smell. Dr. Kenny is aware that while dental work is very important, it can be pricey, so she works alongside each patient according to their finances to come up with the best possible payment plan that works for them for any and all necessary procedures. My mom does not charge a cancellation fee when a patient is not able to keep their appointment (That is so rare! Just about every doctor/dentist charges a cancellation fee if a patient cancels within 24 hours of the appointment). And most importantly, she is friendly to each and every patient that walks in the door and always has the biggest smile on her face. One thing I always look for in a doctor is a doctor who personally remembers me; I used to see a general physician who did great work and always took excellent care of me, but she could never remember who I was or that I was even an existing patient. My mom, however, not only remembers each patient but takes the time to personally get to know them.\r
Dr. Kenny may be my mother, but I know for a fact that there isn't a single dentist in DFW who works as hard as she does to give her patients the optimal dental experience. I am so proud of her hard work and will always push for my friends to get their teeth worked on by her and her alone.\r
Couldn't be more proud to call Dr. Kenny my mom!
