I saw Dr Jam after being referred to him by another doctor. I had very bad bunions that i had neglected for many years. He gave me all the options and went over each. I decided that i wanted him to do the surgery (saw his before and afters ( www.bunionsurgerylosangeles )and talked to three patients on various visits to see their foot and how pleased they were with his surgery). i have almost no scar!!! Had pain the first night after surgery but i knew that was to be expected and it was tolerable with the pills he had given me a prescription for. when he unraveled my bandage after my surgery i cried from happiness, i did not even have a drop of blood on the bandages or a bruise just a litte swollen but like nothing. I am back in my regualar shoes and already in my high heels. went back to work 1 week after surgery to a desk job. I started hiking again about 10 weeks after the surgery but was able to walk the same day of surgery in a boot he gave me. I did not use crutches nor did i need to stay in bed. He is a very nice person and i would agree with the other blogger that i have never meet a better doctor. I would not hesitate to refer others. When you go to his office you dont feel rushed or like a number. He even called me after my surgery to ask me how i felt as did his nurse and even his secretary. Genuinely great person. I truly have not a single negative comment. Oh you will wait in his waiting room like other very popular surgeons but again that too is expected. Betty more
