I personally had the worst experience with Los Abogados Gueros. They never communicated with us. We let the lawyer know that family members were going to be at the court hearing...well the hearing was held and the lawyer left without even speaking to my family. When I called the office to see what happened (2 hours after the hearing when I realized it had already being held!) the secretary apologized and said the lawyer probably didn't look at the note. You would think they'd pay closer attention next time? Well they did NOT! And the same thing happened again. This time I was absolutely enfuriated that they would do this one more time , I asked to speak withe the lawyer not the secretary. She said he was not available so I went ahead and told her what had happened. She then transferred me to one of the lawyers, and he was fast to discuss the WRONG CASE with me. Then when he started discussing the right case, he gave me the same information he had given my brother in law more than a month ago and told me it was new information and they had just started reviewing it. I would have preferred that he told me they were still reviewing old information rather than lying to me saying it was new. Days passed by and a close friend of mine was charged with the same charge as my fiance, DWI with injury. He was out of jail the next day and entered a rehab program. Of course they had another lawyer! Weeks later my fiance had another hearing to wich no one attended because we didnt want another sour experience. I called to ask for information since 5 days had gone by and we hadn't heard from them. I asked for Lilly and I was tranferred to the wrong Lilly, well she told me it wasn't her case and to take notes so I could tell them the right person next time ! Oh it makes me so mad just remembering! Overall experience HORRIBLE. Do not recommend. more

On June 20th, 2012 I was arrested in Williamson County, Texas for displaying a fictitious motor vehicle inspection sticker and charged with a Class B Misdemeanor. After researching law firms online, I came across Peek and Toland’s success stories. There were two cases similar to mine in which Peek and Toland were able to get them dismissed. A week after my arrest I scheduled a free consultation with them to see how they could help. I was accused of an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. I was innocent, and in fact I actually was then one who was attacked and I just defended myself (Self Defense !). On top of all that, I am a Permanent Resident and a conviction for Agg Assault would result in me being deported.
