Dr. Eckhart is the worst orthodontist 6/5/2012

Dr. Eckhart is the worst orthodontist ever!!!! Please do not take your children to them. I saw him with I was a teenager for braces and for my overbite. He was in the process of creating an experimental device called a MARA, that was supposed to help correct an overbite. This was a torture device. There were prongs that constantly cut up my cheek. I still have scar tissue inside my mouth from his contraption. On top of this torture device, he ripped out a molar that his MARA was on without novicane. I told him he was ripping out my tooth, but he said, ""Don't worry. I'm a dentist, I know what I'm doing."" One more yank and it was out!!! My father finally realized I wasn't being a dramatic teenager (re: all the complaining about the pain), and switched me orthodontists immediately. Because of him, I have a horrible fear of any kind of dentists. Thanks Dr. E for the wonderful job! more

Fantastic treatment, friendly staff 8/11/2011

Just got my braces off and I'd highly, highly recommend Dr Eckhart and team for orthodontic treatment. Dr. Eckhart takes pride in his work and will make sure your treatment is perfect before letting you off braces. It's a breath of fresh air seeing an orthodontist that cares about doing a good job, and I must say I chose the right one. I was an uncommon case for Dr Eckhart having come off jaw corrective surgery but he handled my case without sweat and the result is A+ perfect. Highly recommended. Dr eckhart is confident in his work and knows what he's doing. more

I would highly recommend Dr. Eckhart and his team! Although the treatment took 3 years (one year longer than estimated) he was thorough and refused to cut any corners. Dr. Eckhart and his staff are friendly and helpful, and I would recommend them to anyone seeking orthodontic work. more

My braces experience 4/23/2010

After almost three years with braces i finally got them off today. Overall my experience was great. The hygenists were always happy and ready to answer my questions and Dr. E was always in a good mood. Dr. Eckhart is a great orthodontist. I've had my braces for about 2 1/2 years, and not once did I wish that I didn't have them. They're very pleasant and welcoming at Dr. Eckhart's office, and I'm pleased with my experience and how my smile looks now! Pros: Great Service more

James E Eckhart and his staff have given me the best braces experience. First off, all of his efforts are for the good of your teeth. For example, I was not wearing my rubber bands as much as I should have, and he pushed me to wear them and would not let me quit on braces until I had a perfect bite. He truly cares to make you're smile as perfect as possible and his staff feels the same way. I am very happy to get my braces off and I think that anyone thinking about getting braces should go to James Eckhart. Pros: Excellent service, caring kind professionals, great area more

Eckhart's Orthodonics is a great service. I started going there two years ago to get my braces and its been a very painless expierence. One of the best thing about the buisness is that it has some of the nicest and most professional staff. All the staff knows what they are doing and they do it with a smile. Also they run a very clean facility making sure everythings the best for you. Finally, when they can they make the appointments as fast as possible, so you can go back to doing what you would normally do. Eckhar'ts Orthodonics is the best Orthodonics service in the South Bay. THE Best Place to Get Braces!!! 4/16/2010

I just got my braces off at Eckhart Orthadontics. I'm so glad I picked this place to get my braces. When I first got there, the people were friendly and I didn't have to wait that long to be attended. I knew I was going to get the best treatment here. It turned out that I was right. While I went to appointments, I was rewarded if I brushed my teeth well by getting Eckhart Bucks. Eckhart Bucks are fake money that can be traded for prizes. I got itunes gift cards, cds, and Borders gift cards. After I got my braces off, I had a wonderful smile. All of my friends noticed and said I looked great. I'm absolutely postively sure to recommend Eckhart Orthodontics to my friends. So run, don't walk to Eckhart Orthodontics at 1101 N. Best place to get braces! 4/13/2010

As a teenager going to high school in Torrance CA, the last thing i wanted to do was start my sophmore year wearing braces. My parents had to drag me down so i could get them on. From day one everyone there was really nice and helpful. As the months went on I didnt mind going as much as I did before because I knew I was in good hands. My parents and I went all around town trying to find a good orthodontist. Some places may have looked really nice but the people there seemed like they just wanted to get us out so they could go home. It wasn't long before we came to Eckhart's place and realized that this was the place we were looking for. Now a year later my braces are gone and my self confindence is way up. I love my new smile and I really recommend that if you are looking for a great place to get braces that you go to James E Eckhart Inc!!
