James Brooks Automotive

My car kept stalling so I took my car to a few shops and they all gave me the run around. So a friend of mine asked me to call James Brooks, which was the best thing I could have done. He told me it was just a sensor and was not problem to fix. He gave me a real good price so I had my car towed to his shop and it was ready to pick up the next day. He was very nice and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. I have found a life time mechanic. more

James Brooks Automotive was awesome!! I had just started my vacation and was 75 miles from home stuck on I-85. AAA towed my van to his shop at 3:00pm on a Friday afternoon. He stayed late trying to fix my van that was overheating. Mr. Brooks was so nice, courteous, and fair. He made me feel better by showing compassion for our predicament. My daughter and I felt comfortable in his automotive knowledge and didn't feel like he was trying to deceive us. I would wholeheartedly recommend you use his business for all your automotive needs. A good honest mechanic is hard to find, but these guys really are!! These guys are great & really saved my butt!\r \r After my car broke down on 85, AAA called me a tow truck that took me to James Brooks Automotive & they were awesome! I thought I'd tow it to my sister's, so I told the mechanic not to work on it. This was on a Friday afternoon. Well, come to find out, I couldn't tow it with their Jeep & did need it worked on (I thought I'd blew the water pump). They were already closed by time I was picked up & realized we couldn't tow it. I had nothing to do but leave my keys with a note explaining I did need their service after all in the drop-box. I thought I'd be there for the weekend, but the next day, the mechanic(owner?) drove by on his day off & saw my car was still there. Not only did he go in & fix my car, he found the problem to be only a gasket & WAY cheaper than I expected! more
