James A. Watson Wellness Center

Dr. James A Waston is a terrible physician. He do not care about the patients time at all. My Mother had an appointment @ 11:45 Dr. Waston team then went to lunch from 12 -1 at which my mother had to wait. Then to find out that he was not in the office and would not be in the office until 3pm. Why would they schedule an appointment if they know the doctor would not be in until 3. When he did get in @3 she was not seen until 6 and it is now 6:52pm and she is just leaving the doctors office. I truly believe this is a doctor that is in it for the MONEY and not the PATIENTS. more

The wait was long...2.5 hours. When Dr. Watson finally got to me, he was attentive, kind and helpful. I appreciate what he and the Wellness Center do. I was sent there by GA to get a confirmation of my physical and mental conditions. The worst part about the wait was that no one from the staff came to tell us people who were waiting what the hold-up was. Sitting in that little exam room for 2.5 hours with no idea of what was taking so long was quite frustrating. AND WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE OIL THE HINGES ON THE BIG METAL DOOR NEXT TO EXAM ROOMS 7 AND 8? The screeching noise every time someone went through the door was extremely annoying and stress-inducing. I liked Dr. Watson and am recommending him. more

Dr. Watson is a terrible physician with no regard for his patients time. If you have an appointment to see him, you better bring a lunch and a snack, because there is a possibility that you will be waiting for hours to be seen. I have witnessed patients check in at 1 pm and finally get seen at 7 pm. There is also an insect problem in his facility, there were ants, fruit flies and fleas. Outside of his assistant Omar and nurse Morgan, Dr. Watson has got to be the worst physician i have ever experienced. Pros: N/A Cons: overall poor service more

I've been seeing Dr. H. Geoffrey Watson since the SSA sent me over for a physical to go with my GA & footstamp application to see if I was able-bodied enough to be required to work while on GA (Dr. Watson handles a lot of County screenings and is very attentive. Once I got through this screening, I asked him about the severe pain and neck/back/shoulder discomfort I was experiencing and he set me up for an appt within 2 weeks). I showed up with no medical insurance or money but he had immediately put me on CMSP (the county medical insurance for indigents) so my co-pay was $0 for all office visits and $0 for all my prescriptions filled conveniently at the pharmacy attatched to the Wellness Center!) Pros: Attention, Experience, Service, Price, Takes CMSP Cons: Waiting Time, Long Waits for Appointments, Not All Medication available for CMSP more

I am a medical student who worked with G. Watson MD for a month. Being there was inspiring, busy and wonderful. Watson is a caring, competent doctor who serves everyone who needs him. He is, to me, the kind of heroic person that medicine used to be known for (and maybe still should be). He makes great personal sacrifices of time and energy to be available to serve. more
