Great Low-Fat Treats 11/29/2005

Jamba Juice is definitely a great place to go for a healthy, but sweet snack. They offer smoothies of several varieties, including pretty much any kind of fruit you can imagine. I like to go to the one near Lake Calhoun, located conveniently in the Whole Foods Grocery Store. While you are there, do not forget to pick up some of your favorite organic goods! Buying smoothies from Jamba Juice is a great way to get yuor nutrition, without the calories. more

Jumping for Juice 10/27/2005

My favorite summer activity is to stop by Jamba Juice in the Whole Foods Grocery store by Lake Calhoun. Of course, since you are there...take a leisurely stroll around the lake. Jamba Juice smoothies are so refreshing...especially on a summer day. They are also incredibly filling. You can enjoy one in substitution for a meal. Also, need an energy boost, or how about a boost in your immune system. Check out all the options for adding supplements to your smoothie! more

Great Smoothies 9/25/2005

Jamba Juice is the place to go for fresh fruit smoothies. The have over 20 types of smoothies to choose from. They also allow you to add a "boost" to your smoothie. A boost is a mix of vitamins. I prefer a femme boost. The Jamba Juice on Grand Avenue is small. Almost too small. There is not much seating, so plan on getting yours to go. Also there isn't much parking space, so you might have to walk a few blocks. more

beware! jamba juice is HIGHLY addictive -- it can break my cafe mocha habit in exchange for those shakes! this place has a line out the door on a hot sunny day, and it's worth it! these fruit drinks/shakes are delicious and cool you off immediately. bright, colorful store front, very earthy-crunchy feel, and great shakes. the green tea macha shake is worth checking out if you like green tea ice cream. absolutely delicious. of course, it adds up $5 each time, but worth the splurge! more
