Great place for authentic Jamaican food and tropical drinks 5/28/2009

Everything I've tried during several trips to this Evanston gem - from the tropical drinks and appetizers to the main course and dessert - has been wonderful. The service is friendly, the ambiance warm, and, above all, the food is terrific. Make sure you ask for the caramel cake to be warmed up - it will melt in your mouth. Great Jamaican Food! 10/7/2008

I tried this new place with a date and it was great! The ambience is the best of any Jamaican restaurant I've been to: romantic lighting, great decor and a nice mix of old and new reggae music. Full bar with lots of choices with fun names like Bob Marleytini and Mandingo! The food was authentic and my server was very knowledgable and friendly. We will definitely be back again!!! Pros: Authentic Jamaican Food, Great Service and Ambience Cons: None! more
