Best

Been eating here since high school. Im a long time customer, there isn't any better pizza in all of boulder, Nate and the rest of the staff do an excellent job.

Worst

You can't even slice this pizza. All the ingredients run to the middle because there is so much cheese and no crust. Less is more

Best Gourmet Pizza in Boulder 7/18/2013

This is the best place in boulder for gourmet pizza. If you're tired of the poor quality low priced pizza targeted at the college community, give Jalinos a try. They've been in boulder for more than 25 years for a reason. Their homemade deserts are to die for, and made fresh in house daily. more

The pizza is horrible and the service has a LOT to be desired. The delivery keeps you waiting for maybe and hour after the set time is, and then the pizza comes cold, and thrown around. more

Good pizza, but too expensive, slow delivery & terrible customer service 11/27/2007

***I will never buy a pizza from Jalino's again.*** Pros: Many options for toppings & sauces, soy cheese Cons: Poor customer service, slow delivery times, very expensive more

Not bad for food in Boulder 6/17/2005

I must preface this commentary by saying that of all the pizzas I've had in Boulder, CO this is the better of them. While still not up to par with pizzas form coastal cities, at least the pizzas do not arrive soggy. They actually have toppings like feta and artichokes - not that you can find that at many pizzerias in town. For the most part though most food in Boulder in mediocre at best so I wouldn't expect pizzas to be stellar. It is a little overpriced - but definately better than Dominos. more

Worst Pizza ever 2/12/2005

I ordered delivery, so maybe that was the problem, but I'm amazed at their 9 rating. I thought that this was probably the worst, doughy, awful sauce pizza I think I have ever had and I've eaten a lot of pizza! I would not recommend at all. more

I often drive 20+ miles for this pizza ! 1/27/2005

I frequently drive 20+ miles (one way) to get Jalino's pizza, since 1997. Most of Colorado is a pizza wasteland, thank the pizza gods for Jalino's. Pizza of this quality doesn't come cheap, but the price is fair for the quality and quantity of ingredients. THe Rocky Mountain News food critic gives them the rare A- rating and I firmly agree. They don't have the space for sit-down dining, but take it home and it's great. We've even enjoyed it for Thanksgiving dinner one year in the middle of a move. Pros: awesome pizza, quality ingredients, generous portions more

Pizza makers should need a license. 2/10/2003

What a disgusting grease pie place...I thought I was eating a sponge soaked with oil and tomatoe sauce. This place wouldn't last an hour in Chicago or NY. more

I think that Jalinos is so good that I drive from Denver all the way to Boulder When I am in the mood for pizza. Pros: Variety, Hours Cons: No parking more

I love the sauce on this pizza! As a native New Yorker, this is the closest to the real thing! more

The Best 1/6/2003

Best sauce in Colorado, reminds me of being back in Chicago. Great pizza that hits the spot every time. This is the best zzza I've had in the region. Pros: Great Sauce more

Jalino's in the Top 10?!? Absolutely NOT 12/24/2002

I am a University of Colorado in Boulder, CO student, and I have NO idea why Jalino's would even be in the top 20 pizzaria's in Colorado. Not only is the pizza WAAAAAY overpriced, but the quality is below par. From experiencing Jalino's firsthand, I would say Dominos Pizza outscores Jalinos in every aspect by far. Pros: It's in Boulder, CO Cons: Wayyyy overpriced, Pizza is bland, Hard to eat; sloppy more

HORRENDOUS 11/1/2002

Awful. Ellio's frozen pizza beats it hands down, as does most square school cafeteria pizza. Hugely disappointing. more

pizza that is so wrong 10/31/2002

The cheese is greasy, and you need a paper towel to soak up the excess before you can even get started. The sauce is mediocre, and the crust is soggy. What's to like? Cons: nasty more

This is just great pizza and there's not much more to say. Don't miss this place while your in Denver! more

Best pizza in the metro area 7/18/2002

Excellent sauce and generous amounts of toppings. Their Gourmet Pizzas are fabulous, as are their sandwiches, pasta and desserts. If they don't have the pizza combination you want, they'll build you a custom pie. Great late night food. Pros: Open really late Cons: Limited dining area more

  • In Short
The restaurant has a counter in front of the shop and a few stools, but most customers prefer to order their pizzas for carry out. The pizza here isn't Chicago-style or New...
