I went to the address the other day and found nothing there. I think they may have moved or gone out of business.
The SceneThere's a great selection of contemporary country music, dance instruction, and nightly prizes--all for a $5 admission fee. Open three nights a week for dancing, Jake's has a simple decor: a smooth cement floor and strategically placed fans to help keep you cool. And you'll need it. Even if you don't have a partner, they line dance to every song, and the friendly atmosphere makes you want to learn, even if you missed the instruction earlier in the evening. The Skinny Average age is around 23, but if you want to line dance or bring a partner, age won't matter, so don't plan to sit idle. If you do need to rest, they have a few benches and chairs. Parking is right outside the door, at no cost. Jake's gives out prizes each night, but you have to return the next week to be eligible to win. It's a great time for country dance lovers.
