I was disgusted by the Shrimp Pan and threw it away for fear of food poisoning. The shrimp was old and fishy smelling, sauce was soupy and I found shrimp veins and tails still in the dish! I will never go back. YUK! more

Jade Palace has really great Chinese food. To me, most Chinese food all tastes the same, but the food here was the best I've had and was very cheap (lunch menu). I had sweet and sour pork for $4.75. It came with so much food that my takeout box looked like an entire meal. \r \r The staff here was also very friendly. more

Chinese food is chinese food, BUT...their eggrolls are excellent. I tell everyone about them. Aand yes, they do have shrimp in them. If you are looking for zagat quality atmosphere, go somewhere else, but if you want a place where people have been coming for years, driving long distances and still rave about the eggrolls, you found it. A place where the owner talks hunting, sports and family with the customers. A place where the staff brings your favorite drink without asking what you want - Jade Palace is your place. I have been eating at Jade Palace since before Deerbrook Mall was there, about 29 years. I started coming here when I was 4 or 5 and we would commute from Houston to East Texas via Hwy 59, we would always stop at Jade Palace for dinner. Since then I have eaten Chinese food all over the world, and I have to say Jade Palace is still the best Chinese/ American food I have ever had. The egg rolls are the absolute best and the shrimp chop suey is also made perfectly. I always order chop suey when I come to a new town or city and never find it made the same. The service is also impeccable with some of the same faces that have been there since I was a kid. Besides the Chinese food I also highly recommend their steaks. They make them exactly to order. Jade Palace is has the best Chinese food. Everything I have had there is extremely tasty. They have the best egg rolls you will ever have. The fried rice is also excellent. I know, the title sounds like a typical commercial, but really, this place is amazing! I have been coming to Jade Palace for about 10 years, and I haven't gotten sick of it yet! I suggest to anyone who likes chinese food, seriously consider coming here and enjoying a nice, quiet atmosphere and great customer service. I have been going to Jade Palace for over 15 years. My favorite are their egg rolls. They are HUGE, with chunks of shrimp & pork inside. My dad loves the Lobster Cantonese, you can ask them to leave the shells off. My 5 year old raves over the shrimp wonton soup. Lots of wontons filled with chopped shrimp in a pork broth.
