Jade East Restaurant

I have been coming here for 30+ years. I grew up in RI and have traveled all over the world and consider myself somewhat of a ""foodie"" or ""food snob"" and no other chinese restaurant compares to this. It truely is a real life ""cheers"" where everybody knows your name...the regulars go to hang out and have a few drinks and order food from the menu. Occasionally the owners will whip up some special dish for them or whatever is the fresh catch of the day. The food is amazing! i have brought many of my out of town friends here and they still rave to me about the food and how they've never had chinese food that tasted so good! Over the years, the wait-staff have come and gone but the food still remains with the same quality of excellence. It is a family-owned business that has been around for many, many years and is a staple to rhode islanders...and to that, i say ""CHEERS! to Jade East restaurant!"" more

The food is deeeee-licious. The service is great. I live in NYC and eat at a lot of Chinese Restaurants. I know when Chinese Food is good or bad. This is GOOD. It's a GO~! Pros: FOOD, SERVICE, PRICE!!! more

I live right down the street from this place, so I go all the time. The servers a friendly and everything comes out really quick. The scorpion bowl is potent. The menu has a lot to offer. Crabmeat wontons are yummy. The soups are great too: chicken egg drop, egg drop wonton are both good. Steer clear of the calamari tho! Pros: projection tv , selection, full bar more
