Jacquie always finishes my work on time and will call with extra considerations, not just move ahead and then have the garment altered incorrectly. I appreciate the personal touch.

Very poor customer service. I had an appointment for 11:00am for a simple skirt hem. I arrived at 10:55am. I waited until 11:45am, almost an hour, and they still hadn't helped me. With a toddler in tow, I found this was excruciating and unbelievably rude, because I had an APPOINTMENT. LAME. Cons: Hard to find. Ridiculous waits even with appointment. Thumbs way down. more

Great Quality Alterations 5/15/2006

Jackie really knows her way around a garmet fitting, and can do wonders toward making off-the-rack clothes look like they were custom made just for you. One small thing I have noticed is that for basic alterations such as hems or cuff lengths, she is slightly more expensive than a competing tailor I have used in San Jose, but give the price of gas, it may even be cheaper to not drive all the way to San Jose just to save a dollar or two. Plenty of free parking at the Alma Plaza. PROS: Excellent custom tailoring CONS: Slighly more expensive for basic work, but worth it more

Reliable alterations 5/8/2006

We used Jackies to shorten some uniform skirts and trousers for my daughter. When we arrived, we were surprised to find quite a long wait. Apparently, most people make an appointment for the fitting.\r \r The work was done well and in a timely manner, once we got in to have the fitting. Prices are competitive, parking is easy, location fairly convenient for most palo altans. \r \r I prefer Elite Cleaners simply because I can walk there and there is never any wait. more
