First contact with dentist was very good. I happened to be walking by his office - suffering very bad toothaches in 2 teeth. He was able to see me right away - & immediately put me on antibiotics. After that everything was downhill: I had 4 more visits, the last of which I walked out on after waiting an hr to see the doctor. My previous 3 visits had also involved considerable waiting - 1 of which was due to the fact that they had temporarily lost the x-rays taken on my initial visit & had to redo. Anyway, based on the doctor's recommendation, I let him do a root-canal (on one of the infected teeth) - a process that entailed removing an existing crown. It took 2 visits & $950 for this to be accomplished; he was supposed to put on a new crown (not sure what price was supposed to be) but by then I was fed up. 3 dentists have since advised me that the tooth should have been extracted - as it was too damaged to save. 2 of these dentists have further advised that the root canal that had been done was not done well - something I kinda sensed during the process in that I never had a root canal take as long as this one did. My overall summation is that I liked the dentist as a person - he was very nice - but his practice was disorganized - he never ran ""on time"" - but most importantly, I wasted $950 (based on his advice) to try & save a tooth - which I am now in the process of having extracted by another dentist. I would also like to note that altho I did not have a lot of interaction with her, I did like his dental asst - she was always trying to ""run interference"" in an attempt to explain the constant delays.
