Smoking spoiled dinner. 12/8/2005

This was a contemporary Asian restaurant that blends modern cuisines such as Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Cambodian. It has many traditional Vietnamese rice noodle soup, Chinese hot pots, steamed whole striped bass, and clams with black bean sauce, which was fresh and tasty. I dident like the smoking in the lounge. It should be like all resturants, no smoking allowed. That did spoil my dinner. This wasWheelchair accessible. more

Jacky's Galaxie is great for takeout too 8/21/2005

Jacky's Galaxie offers quick seating and a menu that includes Chinese and Thai food. I'm pretty traditional when it comes to Asian food but what I've tried here is always good. I especially recommend the asparagus and shrimp with garlic sauce. But for me, this is the place to go on Friday night when David O'Brien is behind the bar. David's quick sense of humor and attentiveness to his customers is what makes this a great Friday night stop. more

Interesting name, had a good experience 8/9/2005

Jacky's Galaxie almost turned me off by the name because of its dissemblance to the names of any other Chinese Restaurant that I've known. However, once you get past the door, you'll see that this new restaurant will satisfy pretty much all of your desires. They have a full stocked bar for those who want to drink and watch the game, and they have a wide range of chinese ad Cantonese tastes to fill everyone's stomach and tight budget. The interior is well decorated to make the eating experience quite enjoyable. This large space is great for bringing in larger groups and big families. Everyone will always be seated quickly and served with the greatest of speed. I recommend this restaurant for everyone to try, more
