Jackson's Orchard and Nursery

A fall trip to Jackson's Orchard is a family tradition for most of us here in Bowling Green. Beautiful scenery, fresh apple cider wonderful crisp apples. So many of my friends say that their fall would not be complete with a weekend visit. And now many say that their kids come back to town just to relive that same family memory. And that's not even talking about their peaches! more

What I thought would be a pleasant visit with my fiance (visiting KY for the first time), turned into the worst experience possible. When we arrived, we immedietely bought some fruit. Then we asked if we could go look at the orchards. After 10 minutes or so Mr Jackson (it turns out) came flying down the hill in his golf-cart screaming at us. He first accused us of stealing. Then when we told him we were just enjoying a stroll in the orchard (as I had done before), he told me that they had just sprayed pesticide, and that I was sure to try to sue him. His salutation was the best part..."dumb ass". I was shocked! I returned everything I bought, and left with the hope that this man learns how to treat customers with respect. I thought I had just imagined all this, but the employees reaffirmed that his behavior wasn't unusual. It was completely humiliating to be treated like this, and I hope everyone reading will understand that he doesn't value his customers, just their money. more

JACKSONS IS KNOWN FOR THIER FRUIT AND FLOWERS AND ALOT OF OTHER GOOD THINGS FOR THE FAMILY.IN THE FALL OF THE YEAR, THEY HAVE HAY RIDES AND A MAZE TO GO THRU. THEY HAVE A PETTING ZOO. EVERY ONE CAN HAVE A REALLY GOOD TIME. I BUY THE PEACHES AND APPLES TO PUT IN THE FREEZER EVERY YEAR.THE FRUIT IS GROWN IN THIER ORCHARD, SOMETIMES YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO PICK IT YOURSELF. TRY THE APPLE CIDER OR AN APPLE CIDER SLUCH-- VERY GOOD. SOME THINGS ARE A LITTLE PRICEY , BUT UNIQUE. more
