On my second trip I discovered more dressing rooms not being used on the other side of store. Instead of crowding every one and their families in the tiny space, perhaps have one at each side of store. I would have wanted to try more on if it wasn't for the tight areas to walk to show your family member the dress. Nice shop, nice people, but need to utilize the other dressing rooms and people would be happier Pros: friendly, helpful, looks for clearance items first Cons: smallest dressing rooms ever! more

I have had a poor experience at this shop and would like to let other would be brides know. This is the only vendor that I had a problem with related to my wedding. Sunday before my Friday wedding the zipper on my dress let go. The zipper tines seperated away from the zipper fabric the zipper was defective. That evening I called Jacks and let them know of the issue. My mom dropped the dress off at the shop for repair after I had to call them again Monday. My mother let me know the shop was rude to her stating that the owner told her she just pulled too hard and blew the zipper. My mom sews and I was there she did not pull too hard on the zipper. Then the owner told my mom since the dress was fine after we picked it up from alterations that we were going to have to pay for repairs. I asked the alterations person about the zipper when I was picking it up and was told it was fine and not to worry about it. Then the owner had the gall to state to my mother that the reason why the sipper went defective was that I just gained weight. I actaully lost several pounds after alterations hence the reason I was trying on the dress. The owner then told my mother that my wedding dress would be repaired and ready for pick up Wenesday night Thursday early am. I called Wednesday night to see if my dress was ready. I had a Friday night wedding. So this was close. I was told that the work had not even begun on my dress and it would not be ready until after 11 am Thursday. This was not going to work for me as I had no one to hang around for a call to pick up my dress. My entire bridal party and I were traveling out of town and on one would be able to wait for some time after 11 to get the dress! The person I spoke to was rude and condsending. I literally became very upset with the owner herself. Long story short it took me calling my LAWYER to get my dress in time for my depature to my wedding site. Please save yourself the trouble and go any other bridal shop. Pros: In Waukegan and close for those who live there Cons: Poor rude service will not accept returns and don't have an issue because the service gets worse! more
