Jack's Used Auto Parts

I've been here a few times and their prices are the best. Never had any problems with the people working there.\r \r Some vehicles are picked over pretty well and others are jammed in so tight you can't get to what you need, so it always takes me a while to find what I'm looking for, on a wreck I can get at.\r \r Based on some other reviews it sounds like the guy running the end loader will pull a car out if you need something off of it. Haven't had to ask for that yet but will keep it in mind. more

My son went to Jacks today to get a driver's seat out of a car. First off, Jack was a jerk and lead him on a wild goose chase. After walking about a mile he found the type of car he needed but they were stacked 4 high. How are you supposed to pull a seat out of a stack of cars?\r \r Unreal. We'll never go back there. more

Jacks has a huge inventory -- easy to get lost in the yard! Best prices around. The people are helpful to honest customers, but not so much to anyone trying to rip them off -- which happens all the time. I can understand that. Well worth it to check them out for yourself. more

jacks is a very fair place to go.You cant look parts up on the computer because it is a fast pace operation and dont have or need to take inventory of parts like the high priced junk yards do,thats why you dont pay a high price either ! I go here often its the only place to go get used parts . more

This yard is the best! the guy at the front desk is a hoot! The cars they have out back are plentiful and loaded with great parts just for the pickin'. \r \r As I was making my way to the Dodge section, my son and I helped a guy lift a front transaxel from a Nissan Altima off of the dashboard so he could get a little sensor he needed under the dash pad. \r \r If you don't have a tool you need there is usually someone within ear shot to lend a hand. They stack their cars so it can be a challenge to get to something you need, but they brought over the fork lift and scooped up a C-10 pickup so I could get the wheels off... awesome, thanks for the lift!\r \r You can't beat the prices that's a fact. And this is no place for babies (and you know who you are) or high heels either. This is the best U-pull-it yard around, hands down. Thanks guys for running a great business and charging fair prices. I'll be a customer for life. more

Ajacks is great! All you need is tools and a grungy pair of sneakers. it's not as neat as some yards but the prices are right inline with what used upullit should be. Others want to charge almost new prices. If the car you want is under another one, all you have to do is ask them to move it and they are happy to do it. I'd go every weekend if I could!\r \r My son and I rebuilt our '73 Chevy C10 short bed with tons of parts from Jack's. In fact we could not have done it without them it would have cost too much. From wheels to door seals to dash parts. We even pulled a cool center console and an overhead light console from a Suburban to put in it and it worked perfectly. We love this place. The person at the front desk was actually fairly nice. Pointed me in the righ direction and said go find what you need, pull it off, and bring it on up here to pay. Prices were cheap. \r \r The yard is a total mess, cars stacked 2,3, or 4 high, some sitting in water 2 feet deep, broken glass everywhere... but a good selection of cars overall. more

Very cheap on some parts, but high on others. Most of the cars here are used up, so beware of junk and anything you can't test on the spot. The only problems are that the yard is full of glass and other sharp objects so wear boots or thick shoes. Some of the cars are stacked on top of others, making parts hard to access. The sections are well organized but some carcases are out of place. I suggest to bring a friend to stand guard because if you're not careful, you may get teabaged by a mexican in a vacant corner. more

Very cheap parts but yes Jack is an a hole and if i ever see him outside of the junk yard i think i'd have to smack him right in the mouth for talking to people the way he does but over all its worth the trip just for the price more

I'll admit the guys at Jacks aren't the friendliest crowd but they were very well priced and help full. I was in a hurry to get a part the day i went. I walked up told him the part i needed. He pointed to the section said it would be $20 bucks(75 less then any where else i could find) and come back when i had what i needed. He was nice enough to let me use a tool i didn't have and didn't keep me waiting when i came to cash out. My kind of no BS place. more

You whiny reviewers make no sense. If you can't be bothered to bring a screwdriver and pull your own part in this junkyard, wouldn't you also be too lazy to install the part when you get it home?\r \r Who needs customer service? I just needed someone to point the way to the Acura carcasses, and later to hand my cash to. I got a never-used spare tire for $10. Other parts: $10 each. Haven't been there in years, but will go again this week. more

yeah, jack tends to come off as a bit of a jerk most of the time, But he does have some of the cheapest prices around. You WILL have to pull the parts off yourself; and if you don't have the tools and the knowledge to do so, I suggest you go next door, where the people are kinder, gentler and willing to charge you twice as much. As for the people at Jack's not being very helpful, courteous, or even knowing for sure what parts they actually have; Jack's turns cars over every few minutes, it is a very very busy place. Every time I've been there, the car crusher was running all day long. To get the part you need, its usually a matter of, "well the chevy section is over that way, go look and find a car that looks like yours" I get the impression that they're making more money off scrap metal than selling parts! I called to see if they had a rim for our travel trailer. He literally said "I DON"T HAVE TIME FOR THIS". That is rude. All I wanted was to purchase a used rim for my spare tire. But oh well I will NEVER CALL NOR SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN. I wouldn't recommend this place at all to anyone. They are rude and don't know how to treat paying customers. more

The people that work here are just down right rude. I've had to deal with these people a couple times, and none of the times were pleasent. They really need to learn what customer service is! PROS: ok prices CONS: rude, atitudes, more

The experience I had with Jack's Used Auto PArts was a horrible one. The part he told me worked didn't and he wouldn't give a refund. They ahve poor attitudes and are just mean. more
