No matter what I order at Jackie's Seafood, it is always outstanding! With cooler weather coming, make sure you try the soups! They are some of the best I have ever had. The staff is friendly and very attentive and do a great job! Pros: Incredible fresh food cooked to order more

Best Fried Shrimp in the WORLD 9/25/2008

I'm a world traveler. I've been all around the USA coast, and I've yet to find a place that can make fried shrimp like they do here: paper thin batter, sweet shrimp. Simple but no none does it like this. I mean paper thin batter. It is so good my last trip to JAX, I went there and ordered a plate, then I ordered another plate and ate it. With food like this, you don't care about ambiance or the low tide smell outside. Pros: Awesome seafood Cons: With food like this, overlook any deficiencies more

Outside seating makes the difference 7/20/2003

Call ahead to make sure Jackie's is seating people outside on their deck. This makes all the difference. The inside ambience is a little depressing, but dining outside next to the Trout River is terrific. Great fried shrimp here! Pros: Shrimp more
