I was VERBALLY ASSAULTED by an overnight EMPLOYEE & MANAGER at this Jack in the Box! After the amount of my purchase exceded the amount of the pre-paid card was using to pay, I suggested that the person at the drive thru window simply remove an item that I had order so that the amount on my card was enough to pay for my order. The person at the drive-thru window consulted with the manager who was present & the manager came to the window & VERY rudely insisted that this was impossible & that I must pay the difference in order to get my food. I told her that I did not have any other way to pay that & again suggested that she simply remove an item that I had ordered from my order. Since there were other customers in line behind me, I suggested that I come into the restaurant to talk. Upon my entry, I was YELLED AT AND CALLED AN F'ING B*TCH & TOLD HOW LUCKY I WAS THAT THE EMPLOYEE WAS AT WORK & THREATENED TO COME OVER THE COUNTER & ASSAULT ME. This was all in the presence of & encouraged by the Manager!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course I reported this incident to JITB Corporate guest relations, but I feel I should also warn any potential customers for the Durant Jack in the Box.
