My son had some trouble with his car--it wouldn't start. He took it here and asked them to diagnose it. Without alerting him of potential charges to him, they discovered the head gasket blown, and estimated possibly $1,500-$1,600 in repairs to get it going again. That is fine, but they charged him nearly $140 to do this. If he had known it would cost that much to estimate, he would not have had them do it. When asked for any discount on this fee, they held firm. As has been seen elsewhere, it seems their prices are high. They might do good work, but honest communication is necessary, too.
