Working with me could not be easier! Through a one-on-one phone or in-person consultation, we'll uncover your unique talents, experiences, values, and achievements--in short, the specific and personal Brand that sets you apart from your competition. After I've collected the necessary information, I will write your résumé and place an individual design on it that speaks to your profession or career goals. I NEVER use templates; you are a unique individual and you deserve a unique résumé, not a cookie-cutter, mass-produced document. I'll then forward a proof copy for your review. We'll speak again, usually by phone, to review the document, address any questions or changes you may have, and finalize the résumé together. From our initial consultation until you have your finished résumé in hand usually takes about 7 days.
On my business card and stationery, you?ll see me designated as "Jack Mulcahy, ACRW. That stands for Academy Certified Résumé Writer. The ACRW validates the writer?s mastery of key résumé writing skills and concepts, developed through classroom study, training assignments, independent learning projects and intense individualized feedback. Earning the ACRW is a true professional accomplishment.
I've held a lot of different jobs throughout my career, from Training Coordinator to Performance Consultant to Marketing Coordinator. Those were just to pay the bills, and I could give them up when something new or better came along. But writing has been a vocation I've never given up. From newspaper articles to corporate newsletters and marketing tools to fiction, I've been a storyteller all my life.
Now I utilize my passion for writing to tell your stories, through effective, powerful résumés that will:
* Distinguish you from the competition.
* Highlight your relevant skills and achievements in the best possible light.
* Demonstrate to a potential employer that you may be more than just a qualified candidate, perhaps the ONLY candidate worth consideration.
* Enable the potential employer to envision you already doing the job being advertised.
To be effective, your résumé must get prospective employers excited about the opportunity to hire YOU. It must define your VALUE in 15-20 seconds or less. And it must enable that employer to stop searching because he?s found the right candidate. Over the course of my career, I have produced résumés for hundreds of unemployed and underemployed job seekers. Many of those job hunters returned to tell me the résumés I wrote earned interviews, and even jobs, for them.
I give you that opportunity. I can create a professional résumé for you that will show your unique achievements and value, and get the attention of hiring managers.
* NOTE: A professionally written résumé is only one ingredient in your search for employment. No résumé writer, however talented, can guarantee you employment based solely on the résumés s/he produces for you.. Professional Résumé Service
