I love this bar.It is a great bar if you are a local of Queen Anne or are just passing through. There are several reasons why Jabu's is my favorite.First-stiff drinks, friendly bartenders, and a great neighborhood atmosphere.I love stopping in on Thursdays for bingo. Jolene, the bingo lady,is really funny and has great prizes. Emily is friendly with great smile. She even pours your pitchers for you. I have been to alot of bars in Seattle and have never seen a bartender give this level of pitcher service!Phil has a great open mic night.Charlie is their newest addition. He is really friendly and cute too!The owners,Stephanie,Miesha, and Jessica have worked really hard to turn the bar around and continue with the Jabu's Tradition-great beer, friendly bartenders, great atmosphers, and the wall of picture. As for stacey who wrote the comment below. I was there the night you and your friends were kicked out.You and your friends were abnoxious and belligerent. It is actually the law to cut off individuals who are intoxicated/ belligerent. Again another great reason why I enjoy going to Jabu's Pub- great drinks, friendly bartenders, and the staff does not put up with abnoxious belligerent drunks. The regulars at the bar agreed that you were being belligerent and needed to be cut off. Unfortunately, belligerent drunks get really upset when they get cut off.As for the storm games,it a fun crowd.I have on several occassions shared a good karaoke song with a storm fan.I have even seen S. Bird and other Storm team players sit at the bar on several occasions! On regular evenings you can always rely on a friendly face, good people, and a cold glass of beer. The owners like to do alot of fundraising for things such as animal rescue and ALS so you never know what kind of fun night you might have. However, I always have a great time.I think that is why Jabu's has had such as loyal following for the past 6 years and will continue to even after the Storm season is over and the Storms leave for Oklahoma.
Pros: Great bartenders, dog friendly, good food, 15 local beers on tap
Cons: Would like a drink menu
