Pork, chicken and ribs cooked over an open fire - that's the way my family likes our BBQ and only my grandpa made it better than JR's. This particular restaurant is housed in a building that was originally a Fulton County Fire Station. The recipes being served at JR's have been handed down from grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many of them were originally part of The Old Hickory House Restaurants. You won't be disappointed - and if you are, be sure to let your waitress know. JR says, "If you receive any food that is not what you expected or not to your taste, PLEASE as a great service to me, ask your server to replace it. If you are still not completely happy, PLEASE, PLEASE inform your server and it will be taken off your check. Remember, you should never waste your hard earned dollars for something that is not worth the value." Now, that's customer satisfaction!
