On behalf of Fairfax Little League please accept our Thank You to JL Tree Services for your help in repairing Burke Field. As you know Fairfax Little League is a non- profit organizations whose goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable baseball experience for boys and girls. We are staffed by volunteers and supported by local organizations. At Burke Field JL Tree Services did a super job repairing the protective netting behind home plate and also repairing the flag pole. Now the American Flag is proudly flying again at the field. Your crew was very easy to work with, were very professional, and were very friendly. And thank you for all the use of your bucket truck without which these repairs could not have completed. Your service to Fairfax Little League is recognized and greatly appreciated. more

Many thanks for your speedy response. I wish to put on record how pleased I am with the service I have received from all the employees at JL Tree Services. From my initial contact with pleasant Christie manning the phones, to the efficiency and prompt response of Curt Hilling who did the estimate, to the stealth workmen who completed the tusk in the early hours of the morning ( without even waking me up!) they did a good job 5/4/2011

They were recommended to me by my regular tree guy who couldn't handle the big job I had. JL removed 17 trees, about 10 of which were 40' high oaks and poplars. I wasn't here that day, buy they did a good job, removed all the brush, ground all the stumps, etc. They were the lowest of three bids I received. I'm about to call them for another big tree I need removed. more

it was amazing! 5/2/2011

Your crew removed a very large oak tree located in our back yard. A cherry picker couldn't access the property and everything had to be done by hand. I was overseas when the tree was taken down, but my husband assured me that there was no damage to the surrounding trees, bushes, fountain and tulips that were sprouting. As soon as I came home, I ran to my backyard and it was amazing! I was sorry to see the old oak tree gone but it was dead; however, everything around the tree was in the pristine condition. Your crew also cut down the oak tree into pieces that mu husband was able to split into firewood which will last us for the next 10 years. more

really safe, professional 4/19/2011

Today we had a giant oak tree removed from our back yard by JL Tree Service. We were really worried about it because many of the branches hung over our house. Scheduling this work was really easy, in fact they were even willing to postpone doing work until the winter months in order for me to get the 15% discount. They were most definitely the cheapest in the area. They arrived on time the day of scheduling, bright and early, and worked all day long. They were really safe, professional and I was overall very pleased with their work. I will certainly use them again and would suggest others use them as well. more

We had a large Maple and a smaller tree removed, plus pruning and stump grinding. The estimator was easy to schedule and easy to work with. The crew came as planned, were very professional, and did a great job. They caused some minor damage to my lawn, but with the rain we had the day before, I can't fault them too much. Note: for my job, the stump grinder came separately from the cutting crew. Their staff did not make clear that I could have had the trees cut one day and stumps grinded the next, which would have been nice to know. Regardless, everything was done in 1 day, so I'm happy! more

The job was well done 3/25/2011

We had a 50 foot tree fall on our roof, there was about a foot of snow and ice on our roof. The job required a crane. J&L did the job within 2 days of our giving them the go ahead. The job was well done and the clean up was done well under the circumstances. more
