Unprofessional, over priced, rude is how I would describe JC Evans Termite.\r They came in three hours late and they damaged my expensive garage door while they were replacing a piece of wood. When I called the owner to explain the situation , he yield at me and hung up the phone and asked the guys to leave just because he know it will cost a lot for them to repair the door.\r Extremity unprofessional and rude.\r I would never do business with them.\r By the way I called the ""Better Business Burro"" to report their unprofessionalism and they were unable to locate their license.\r \r more

Overpriced, excessive findings and they were messy when they inspected my home. Not only were they 2 hours late but then they charged me for a terrible inspection. Thumbs down. more

Excellent service - professional, effective, friendly, extremely helpful. Did everything that was promised for a good price (had the house tented and garages sprayed) came back within the two year warranty for another inspection with the utmost courtesy and without charge - I definitely recommend Mr. Joe Alvarez and his team and will continue using their service when new termites might come flying my way :) more

Would use again 9/28/2010

I chose JC Evans termite based on reviews that I read here and was not disappointed by my choice. The workers showed up on time and were reliable. The owner Joe performed the inspection himself and gave me a fair estimate. The crew lead by his brother Titus did a fantastic Job repairing the termite and water damaged wood on our 1920's Santa Monica house. I was was quite impressed by the quality of their work and even learned a few things along the way. We are pretty particular when it comes to work on the house. I would use them again, which I can't say for all of the contractors we've had in the past. more

Better than the big companies 10/3/2007

My realtor recommended this company to us and we were very pleased. The owner himself came out to inspect our place, and within a week gave us a report which quoted a cost half of what Terminex wanted to charge us. They also held our hands through the fumigation process. Pros: Quick service and personal attention Cons: Reached voicemail instead of a person a few times more
