Best place to eat in the area 8/26/2008

My boyfriend and I eat at J. Baldwin's regularly. The food is always exceptional and the waitstaff is very good too. We've also had them cater a couple parties for us at our home. The food was just as good as it is in the resaurant. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a fantastic meal. Pros: food is delicious. waitstaff helpful Cons: nothing more

Great specials with amazing service 7/18/2008

While this place might not look like much on the outside I assure you that once you make your first trip to J. Baldwin's you will become a loyal customer. A few years ago a friend introduced me to the place after they first opened raving about there wine list and exceptional menu. Since then I have moved to Los Angeles and still make it a point to go to back every time I am in town. This place is perfect for any occasion and if you are so inclined you can take a seat at the bar and chat up one of the friendly bar tenders for the evening while watching the game. Calamari heaven 5/11/2008

You need to go just for this calamari appetizer- made this place even better-Owner Jeff Baldwin and his wife are very hands-on- the food is expertly prepared- and always tastes fresh- bar staff is friendly and funny- and they always stay on top with menu changes just when you need that to happen- I would tell everyone to at least try this out of the way spot in Clinton Township--well worth your time and money....great dinners. Pros: calamari is the bext ever Cons: sorta pricey- but, what are ya gonna do ? more

Atmosphere is casual . Very professional wait staff. Owner makes his rounds to make sure everything is satisfactory. Pros: Great sevice. Good food and yummy desserts. Cons: Busy on Fridays so get there early. Nice bar atmosphere for waiting. more
