QUALITY
J.A. King & Co places an extraordinary emphasis on quality and safety across the entire organization. Our quality team is dedicated to the highest quality standards pursuant to the ISO 17025 quality system.
In the early 1990's, J.A. King & Co adopted the ISO 9000 standard and we have since built our ISO 17025 quality program from the ground up. A2LA trained, our Quality Manager has worked with the ISO standard for 20 years and has proved a valuable resource to both J.A. King & Co and our many customers. Military trained, our Technical Manager has also worked with the ISO standard for 20 years and represents the core of our metrology technical knowledge.
Together, our quality team oversees our 10 locations, including our 6 fully A2LA accredited ISO 17025 calibration labs. In addition, J.A. King & Co has worked with many of our customers in setting up their own ISO programs, as well as ISO auditing, and supplier auditing pursuant to the ISO 17025 standard.
SAFETY
All of our calibration technicians are required to undergo routine in-house safety training, including but not limited to:

Confined Space
In addition, each calibration technician attends an annual safety training with the Mid-Atlantic Safety Council as well as various site specific safety trainings.

With an industry leading A2LA accredited ISO 17025 scope of services,we work to add value to all of your Industrial Measurement applications.
When your existing calibration and metrology labs are at capacity,our A2LA trained technicians can work closely with your staff to help you manage your workload. We also work hard to augment your facility’s capabilities by calibrating and repairing equipment that is outside your scope. Many of our customers have found that our ability to efficiently manage equipment lists spanning the entire measurement spectrum,in quantities ranging from 10 items to over 10,000,often provides a significant cost savings.
