In all likelihood, every one of these recommendations is a fake. Look at the names of the 'reviewers'. All have a common set-up formula with an initial at the end and most have 'crazy' names, nothing even resembling a genuine person, even (as mine is) a kind of nickname. This means that someone in the company or a friend or relative of someone who works for J. Steward Paving is writing these reviews to get potential customers to believe that their work is amazing. I'm not saying that the work of this company is no good. I'm only saying that these glowing reviews are most likely not real. more

When you run across a sub-contractor in this business that takes so much pride in their work, it is worthy of written commendation. When we meet to look at upcoming jobs, I know that you will complete the task at hand without me having to micro manage your portion of the project. With the amount of sub-contractors I deal with on a regular basis, this is great comfort to me to know that when you call to tell me the project is complete I know that the job is done and done right. Their performance exceeded our expectations in the following areas: Professionalism, workmanship, materials used and in neatness. First, there was open communication, and calls were returned in a timely fashion. Secondly, the workers took care in not disturbing the surrounding landscaping. The workers were experienced and skillful in preparing the driveway for the application of the asphalt. The final result was a well-defined, well-finished driveway. Stewart Paving repaved a 600' x 12' private drive that serves our home and two other homes in Swarthmore. The drive was in very bad condition, with many potholes. Stewart Paving did an excellent job leveling the drive, providing a new base, and repaving the drive. The firm worked efficiently, completing the job in less than two days. At the same time, Stewart Paving put new asphalt on the large parking area at our house. Because the parking area was in better condition than the drive, it was not necessary to remove the existing paving. Stewart Paving was the low bidder for this work, by a considerable margin. My wife and I were and are very satisfied with the performance of Stewart Paving and would not hesitate to use the firm again should the need arise. more
