I really like J Salon. 12/5/2009

Good: Receptionist is freindly, not like most places i've been to. Got a really nice haircut from Joe.. Improvements: Nothing, I was really impressed with this place. I will go here from now on.. Other: This salon is expensive, but if you care about how your hair looks, it is worth it. If you are looking for a bargain, you should go somewhere else.. more

Just Fantastic! 12/4/2009

This salon is really outstanding. I got a fabulous haircut from Joy. My hair has never looked this good. I can't stop looking at it in the mirror. And so many strangers stop me and ask who cuts my hair. Before Joy, no one EVER asked me about my hair. The rest of the staff is really nice too. Especially Shirley at the reception counter. I don't think I'll have to go to another salon again. more

Good: The service at J Salon is impeccable. Everyone is so freindly and helpful- from making the appointment over the phone to the shampoo girl to the stylists. I am very impressed.. Bad: It can be challenging to get an appointment at J Salon- I guess they are in high demand. I usually have to plan at least a week in advance to get an appointment.. Other: I go to Jovan(total hottie with an accent) for my highlights and Joy for the best haircut of my life. It's not cheap here, but you get what you pay for! Highly recommended.. more

Melvin Rocks! 7/16/2009

Let's keep this simple. I was scared to cut my hair but felt like I needed something shorter for summer. I saw all the reviews and decided to make an appointment with Melvin. Best. Haircut. Ever. He listens, explains his ideas, and makes you feel comfortable. And he doesn't even act like some uber talented artist (though trust me, he's an uber talented artist!). He just acts like he's there for you and he just wants you to leave happy. I've found my hair guy! more

Cool salon, VERY nice staff 9/13/2008

This place rules, not only because it looks good inside and EVERYONE is nice, but also because they do a bang up job on color and they don't cost any more money than any other place would. I was surprised to pay 150 for a bleach job, whole head of color, shampoo and flat iron. And it only took like 2 hours. Totally beyond happy. more
