Five years ago, we hired J&S Landscape to install 1.5 acres of landscaping at the site of our new home. J&S installed all of the landscaping at our home and we have been very happy with the results. Mike drew up the landscaping plan, he listened to what I liked, as well as the amount of work I wanted to put in to maintain it. The crews did a great job installing the sprinkler system and plants, everything has done well and they have been great about replacing any plants that have not worked out. Mike designed a beautiful pond and Leo's crew were amazing installing it, it's really a focal point in our backyard and the koi love it. I would highly recommend Scott and his company for design, installation and maintainence, as they have exceeded my expectations on all the tasks they have performed for me. more

J&S Landscape did the landscaping in the back and front of our house. We already had a plan for the back, which we had started to implement, but J&S completed it. In the front, J&S developed the plan and implemented it. Mike Woods was our principal contact with J&S. They constructed a water feature, installed a new sprinkler system, planted numerous plants and bushes, build a new fence, and installed a new walkway and driveway with a drain that finally solved the drainage problem we had had for 30 years. We are very pleased with all of the work J&S did for us. We have had numerous favorable comments from neighbors and visitors. And, our grandchildren enjoy splashing and fishing in the water feature. Mike Woods and other J&S people made suggestions, listened to our desires and concerns and took them into consideration in their planning. They were always available when we wanted to make a change or an improvement. While the work was in progress, Scott Haugland, the owner of J&S Landscape, came frequently by to check the progress and results. We have encountered no problems with their work; it has been outstanding. more

Mike came over and walked the property with us. After pointing out the things that we were dissatisfied with he came back to us with a written plan that could be executed in phases. This worked out perfectly for us since we were able to pick and choose what to do first. The plan also included an itemized budget and when the work was completed the budget was completely accurate, with no hidden costs which we really appreciated. We are very happy with the plantings and flowers selected since we now have color throughout the season. J&S also came back to do maintenance on our courtyard fountain and added additional flowering vines upon our request. We have always found them to be very responsive and highly professional and would be happy to recommend them to anyone wishing to start a new project or spruce up an existing landscape! more

This company is fantastic. The service is outstanding. After most of the work was completed, I discovered a couple of overlooked issues. The weather at the time was horrible, but in both cases, the team took immediate action to remedy the situation at no extra cost. These guys are definitely dedicated to excellent customer service. They've delivered on time and budget on all work. Plus, they're very communicative, so when issues arise, or I want to make changes, they are available to get the work done to my satisfaction. more

We had our pond installed nearly 10years ago. It was beautiful then and gets more beautiful each year. Mike and J&S are responsive if there is ever a problem. The maintenance program is simple, affordable and keeps our pond in great shape year around. more

From proposal to follow-up, J&S always exceeded our expectations. We especially appreciate their knowledge of plantings, aesthetic input, and the astounding efficiency of their operation. In a few days our property was transformed from a dirt pile to a well-drained lawn and garden with irrigation system. We expected days and days of equipment, dirt, noise, etc. but they were here and gone. Supplies arrived just as they were needed. the crews were large and skilled. We asked for the initial proposal, which was terrific, to be reduced significantly and that was done without complaint and the result was still terrific. We give our highest recommendation. Few businesses we've encountered have been as professional and responsive as J&S. more

We decided to put in a pond. We got a few bids from contractors at the Denver Home & Garden Show. Mike from J & S Landscaping was the only one who drew up a sketch. Being an engineer I like the sketch and how he itemized everything. This way we knew what we were getting. He even took us on a tour around town of the other ponds he had done in the past. He was very thorough. Being a horticulturist he worked in the plants around the pond and did a great job. It was a little bit more expensive but we got way more than we thought we would. They also did the job very quickly. more
