We do heavy haul truck driving work and stay at Flying J we always walk across and eat at J&R's it's small and plain . the brisket chopped sandwich is very good. the sauce is a vinegar and sweet taste. the hot links are just so so. the ribs are ,nice fall off the bone good flavor...try the peach cobbler it's warm and very sweet.
ice tea all you want. the beans are a thick pinto bean sauce cooked slow and yummy. the turnip greens have a bar b que flavor to them it's different but ok...stay with corn on the cob.
it's good and a nice treat on state line.
Pros: easy to get to walk or drive
Cons: sometimes out of the best foods
