JP Chimney Service (Jim Paniello) gave us a 10 year guarantee on all his work in rebuilding 2 chimneys at our home in Berwick, ME. A month after the work was complete, we had a couple of questions about our wood stove. Our calls were never returned. A year and a half after the work was complete, we had significant leaking at both new chimneys. Again, we called and this time Jim made an appointment to check out the leaks but never showed and didn't call. We've left other messages that have not been returned. It's easy to say you guarantee your work and that all parts and labor will be covered at no cost to the owner, if you just ignore your calls and never go back. Initially, we were impressed with Jim's presentation. He spent 45 minutes going over all that he would do and alleviated our fears about further leaking and damage to our ceilings. He appeared sincere. Once the bill was paid, we never heard from him again. I will not only NOT recommend JP Chimney Service, I will go out of my way to make sure no one I know gets ""TAKEN"" by them. Less
