Nightmare come true. Was at this Salon for a Haircut earlier in the day and it was pretty obvious from the beginning that a trainee stylist was cutting my hair. She obviously had no idea what she was doing and I was left with a hair cut full of patches. more

Marissa ia amazing as a hair stylist and an owner! She has done my hair for 3 plus years and has saved my hair from a dissaster! She cares so much not only about providing excellent style but she also wants the best for the health of your hair! She has done my extensions for a few years and I cant say enough about how great she is with technique and excellence with seeing what looks best! She has to put with how picky I am and every time she rises to the occasion with meeting my high expectaions! She is fair with prices and will have my business for as long as she stays working because I really feel my hair is fantasitc hands with her and all of her staff! Every one who works at this Salon is excellent so go today and get your hair done or get a manicure, makeup, and you will never regret it! My previous hair stylist did a great job DESTROYING my hair. The last straw was when she turned my hair a brown/greenish color (it was supposed to be blonde). I was in panic mode and called my best friend for help. She recommended Marisa from J Michael's Salon (she is also the owner). My friend had been seeing Marisa for years and her hair always looks FABULOUS so it didn't take much convincing. I made an appointment with Marisa the next day, and the rest is history. Let me tell you.....I've never had a better experience and haircut/color in my LIFE! She SAVED my hair!! Marisa is the BEST hair stylist I've ever had! My hair went from dry, dull, and damaged, to smooth, healthy and beautiful! She always checks up on me to make sure I still like everything she's doing and recommends products to use on my own without hounding me to buy things. (For the record, every product I've ever bought from her has done WONDERS with my hair and lasts forever!) With her help, my hair has done a complete 180 -- in a good way! I don't know what I would do without her! P.S. I recommended her to my mom, and every time I talk to her she tells me how much she loves Marisa and her salon! lol more

When I first sat in Marisa's chair,the state of my hair was following:my once beautiful mid-back lenght hair was chemically cut to my chin and its color was mauve.Apparently,going from brown to blonde required loosing and damaging all my hair. However,once I came to Marisa,after just one time ,my hair already got blonde highlites and Marisa gave me a very edgy bob (very Posh Spice)that turned my hair from frumpy to fabulous.Marisa's care does not stop once you leave the chair.She always makes sure to recommend to proper styling products and to coach how to style the hair at home.She even checks in with me to see how my hair is doing,which is something I never experienced.I have been going to Marisa every since and am happy to share my incredible experience with everyone. My 3 best friends and my mom also started doing to her and so does a girl who works at Victorias secret,who saw my hair,loved it and started going to Marisa. Like I said,Marisa and her salon are one of a kind. more
