J Mark Photography

We have used Mark and Vicki for every photography need so far in our lives. Engagements, wedding, family portraits and newborn photos (sooo cute). We could not be more pleased with the quality of the photos and the editing is beautiful. Everyone always looks at the photos in my home and asks who my photographer is and I recommend them every time. By only is the price right but you get more than you'd expect for the price. My husband is a freelance photographer and for him to love the photos is a big compliment. I read a review about how some lady wasn't pleased with the way Vicki kept things moving. This is so surprising. Se is better than having a wedding coordinator! She kept everything moving and running smoothly. She made sure we had time for every photo opportunity we wanted! They communicated with each other through ear pieces and were constantly in the know about what was going on across he room at all times. Not a single moment was missed at our wedding and I am forever grateful for that. You can't go wrong with this team! more

I hired Mark Photography after seeing his work on the website. When we met with Mark and his wife Vicki it was great. I thought we would get what I was looking for after telling them what was important and that we may need some editing to some pictures if they didn’t look good. That never happen, they do take lots of pictures but they just put them in a drive and email it to whomever they don’t care if you paid for their service or not. Someone just needs to call them up and they will mail it to them. The pictures taken in our church were of people that were not very flattering. I would think you would want to take the best pictures of people. Vicki was upset when she arrived at the church and people could see that and they were asking why. When she started to take pictures she just snapped pictures of whatever. At the reception Vicki was more concern about leaving where it was very hard to watch her because she kept on looking at her watch over and over. Mark on the other hand was doing a good job. Vicki rushes you and on the shoots she does not fit the brides dress. Even some of my guest told me later they felt like they were being rushed when pictures were taken and what was up with that. Would I use them again NO! Would I recommend them to someone NO, due to the rush job they did. The pictures on the site are of their daughters and of course they will look good. I would tell Vicki if you are tired then stay home and have your husband and someone who knows how to take pictures helps him. I want someone who is going to care what my daughter looks like when pictures come out. Making sure her hair is right, dress is straight or veil, shoulders are out and she just looks good overall. If you don’t care or just want to go someplace else then don’t do this work. more

I’ve worked with Mark and Vicki on multiple occasions and I can’t rave enough about there professionalism and their quality of work. Just recently my fiancé and I hired Jmarkphotography to shot our engagement pictures and they did everything I asked for and more. I was looking for a specific style and they met and exceeded all of my expectations. The quality of work was exceptional and it was incredibly difficult to choose my favorites because they were all beautiful. I can’t wait to work with Mark and Vicki again for my bridal portraits and my wedding!! more

Mark and Vicki are personable people, and nice to talk with. Were on time and prepared. My problem is that I am too a photographer but could not shoot my own wedding. I chose Mark and Vicki and feel that I was sold on the pitch and not provided that same quality at game time. There are several professional issues that I have with my photographs that they provided me. Most would see them as good photographs but in reality they are average snap shots. If you are looking for truly high quality professional photography then I would say to keep looking because Mark and Vicki can not deliver that quality. If you are looking for average DSLR snap shots, then by all means book with Mark and Vicki. They are nice people. They just are not up to par of what I would consider professional quality photographers. Issues I had were shadowing on flashed pictures (black shadows), High ISO noise (not shooting RAW but JPEG) and soft out of focus pictures. All things that can not be edited out of a photograph. more

What a pleasure and relief it was to find a photographer that was willing to do just about anything to get great shots of my daughter's wedding. Mark & Vicki are very professional with great people skills and could get even the most disfunctional family together for memories we will always cherish. The price was right and the pictures turned out beautifully. I also contracted with them for family photos. Once again, great shots and beautiful pictures. I won't go to anyone else. I highly recommend them for whatever memories you would like to capture. more

Mark and Vicki There are not enough thanks you's we can give. You did an amazing job photographing our new born son. The photos were better than we could have imagined they would be, after all our son was only 2 months old. Mark was not only professional but caring and patient and very prepared for the photo shoot. We love the extra time you took in making our first photos a special time for our family. The photos are truly memories that will last a lifetime and beyond. We look forward to the next ones!
