I RECOMMEND EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO SELL TO GO TO PENDERGRASS FLEA MARKET OR HAVE A YARD SALE. AND WHAT IS WITH NOT FIXING THE BATHROOMS AT THE FLEA BITE CAFE AND LETTING THE SEPTIC SYSTEM OVERFLOW IN TO THE FLEA BITE. THAT IS UNSANITARY AND UNSAFE. IF YOU CANT AFFORD TO HAVE THE SEPTIC FIXED THEN LEAVE AND SELL TO SOMEONE WHO CAN FIX IT AND HAVE THE COMMON SENSE ABOUT BUSINESS TO RUN THE FLEA MARKET. THE OWNERS AND THEIR LACKEYS ARE A DISGRACE TO THE HUMAN RACE AND ARE A WASTE OF OXYGEN!! IF YOU ARE A SMART PERSON IN ANYWAY STAY AWAY FROM THE J&J FLEA MARKET AND THE FLEA BITE CAFE!! more

Vehicles for sale 5/20/2006

I just found out that you can sell your vehicle at the J&J flea market. Jerry Farmer, owner just told me that I can place my vehicle on their front lot for $10 per week. I just need a permit that I can get at the office, park my vehicle and over 20,000 people will have the opportunity to see it on Saturday and Sunday. The flea market only rents the space, they don't sell it for you. more

A great place 5/20/2006

J&J Flea Market near Athens, GA is the biggest flea market I have ever seen. There is over 1000 vendors with all kinds of collectibles, antiques and just about anything you could think of. There are 3 restaurants and they are building 2 more. They serve breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday. That's the only days they are open. They are open year round. If you can find a better flea market anywhere, let me know because I know you can't. more

Go on weekends 10/20/2005

The table sales outside are like having hundreds of garage sales at one location... no driving! Getting there at 7 am is not too early to find the best bargains. Go after 10 am and almost everything good will be gone... with one exception. There are always wonderful selections of plants and home grown vegetables. There is something for everyone here! more

flea market 10/20/2005

If you're in the mood to go treasure hunting, check out this place one afternoon. The usual flea market businesses are located inside the buildings, but I think the better deals are to be had outside on the tables. These are rented by people trying to get rid of their unwanted junk. Go early to find the good stuff or go late to get the better deal! You can also rent a table ($15?) instead of having a yard sale at your home. more
