J & J Auto Maintenance

This place has the absolute worst customer service. Our insurance company had us bring our car here for a leaky sunroof repair. They told us that the part they needed wasnt made anymore. However they said that they sent out all the interior to get cleaned from water damage. This took about 2/3 weeks for them to complete. Then once we were finally able to pick our car back up we saw that they had broken two plastic pieces inside. The seat adjuster and another small plastic part, also the airbag light was suddenly on. They told us they would have to order the parts to fix it. We left our car with them only to have another week and a half go by with no update. Finally we said to give the car back and call us when the parts came in to fix it. We had to call them about 2 weeks later They told us the parts were in. When we brought the car back... it was the WRONG PARTS. THIS WAS IN THE WINTER. WE STILL HAVE YET TO HEAR WHERE OUR PARTS ARE. THE PLASTIC PIECES ARE STILL BROKEN. Meanwhile the leaky sunroof was never fixed because they told us the parts are unavailable/ discontinued. We brought it to dodge where they told us it was installed backwards, and they replaced it with a NEW ONE. Which is so strange since JJ said we couldn't get the part. They charged us a lot of money to "send out the interior for cleaning" when it really just looked like they shop vac'd it and left our car with damage. An extreme rip off, and a huge mess. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. NOONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE AND NOONE SEEMS TO HAVE ANY ANSWERS FOR YOU. AN ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. more

This is a real review by a customer that had body work done on a 2009 Honda Accord Coupe in January 2012. The work that was done on our car was the WORST work I have ever seen in my life. The damage to our car was from a small collision that banged up the front end. The new (aftermarket) hood they put on not only doesn't fit, with big gaps on each side, but is also way to high above the fenders! The rubber gasket that goes under the front of the hood hangs out about 1/4 to 1/2 inch .... it is not supposed to be visible at all. The paint was only quickly sprayed on once on the underside of the hood and looks like it was done with a can of rustoleum. We had another area above the drivers side window repaired. It was dented from a tree branch that came down in our driveway during the weird October snow storm. The repair was HORRIBLE to the point that there are paint drips all along the edge of the repair. Also there was overspray paint on the window. We took the car to a Honda dealer and they literally laughed their heads off when they saw the work. They told us we couldn't sell or trade this car if we wanted to because of this terrible work. They also neglected to repair the headlamps which were scratched, and if you can believe this ... we had them do an oil change and they never even reset the oil level light. We are not the type to complain if there is a little issue, but they have destroyed our vehicle and rendered it valueless!!!!! Not to mention it took them over 2 weeks to do this terrible work. Our insurance company is USAA and we now have to take it to another auto body shop and have ALL the work redone. In 49 years I have never seen such poor quality work from an auto body shop. You would be a fool to use these guys. more

This is a real review. Been there 3 times because of insurance company, nice location, shop looks professional. Results: each time I had to call one of the guys out and point out what they didn't complete. Very obvious sloppy work, molding not properly attached, screws missing, rubber bumper swinging in the breeze, plastic panel plugs broken and missing, masking tape still on, body panel corners with no paint. Their workmanship is very poor. If you care about your car do not bring it here. more

I found the work to be done quick and very well done. The atmosphere of the office was not great. Employees snippy and seemed to be at odds with one another... The work was great though. more

Took my Honda civic in to fix a bumper problem...within 9 minutes it was finished. VERY AFFORDABLE!! THANK YOU!!!!! more

Fast repair. All replacement parts lined up perfectly they did not cut corners. Gave me a full detailed report of the work performed. Extremely happy with every aspect of the repair. Would highly recommend this shop, they are very professional and I would not hesitate to go back if I ever needed any bodywork on my car again (Although I hope it is not needed again!) more

I have been taking my car there for a couple years and have no complaints. If they can do it they will do it fast and reliably. If not they will say so and recommend where to go. A lot of integrity and they stand by their work. Once I took my car to another place. Boy, was I sorry, and had to bring it to J&J to redo bad work. more

Honest, and really great mechaincs at this place. Hard to fix problems they can solve it, if you love your car and want top work this is the place. Not crooks, fair and stand by their work more

I trust that my car will always be in great working shape after I drop it off to be fixed at J& J. They are truly good workers that are very honest. They once weren't able to fix a problem with my car and when I went to pick it up, they never even charged me for their time assessing the vehicle. They also guarantee their work, so if by some chance something happens, you can bring it back and they fix it again, no charge. The salepeople in there are so great, and they usually fix the problem quickly so you can have your car back in no time. I can't say enough about this place, because a lot of car places really try to rip you off, but J & J is just the opposite. They are GREAT! more
