These people can not be trusted. Lifetime warranty? Don't count on it! My basement has been leaking since they "fixed" it a year ago. They have sent out guys since and they sprayed sealant on it. Now they are trying to tell me the warranty doesn't apply. PLEASE, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I wouldn't even give them one star but I had to to share my review. more

I talked with a salesman from this company last month over the phone. The guy seemed to now what he was talking about so i setup an appointment the week after.\r THe guy shows up, tells me his shpeel, then tells me how much it's gonna cost at the very last moment. YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!\r I think the guys name was john. more

WE DECIDED TO GO WITH EVERDRY 4/21/2011

J&D Waterproofing worked on our basement over 20 years ago. Just recently we needed work done on it once again and we decided to go with Everdry. Everdry was expensive but they work on the inside and the outside of the house. more

On 2nd thought..... 4/18/2011

First heard about this business from a friend just last month. My friend thought this company would be able to perform the work requested, but after further research J&D Waterproofing definitely wasn't the cheapest, nor did my friend get a good vibe from the salesman, John Williams. After Mr. WIlliams said they were a 'Christian' company, my friend just didn't trust him. Can't say I blame him; it's a shame that a company will say anything to get your business nowadays. : ( more

After doing a search for reputable basement waterproofing businesses I came across this listing. Would not use this business after seeing so many bad reviews on this site. I hope I can find something better than this. more

Truly Christian company? 4/15/2011

Just came across this site and I also have to voice my concerns about this company. I can't say anything about their workmanship, but I wouldn't trust this company if they portray themselves as a Christian company and don't follow through in their business practices. They should be very careful when portraying themselves as a Christian company because it could easily go the wrong way when push comes to shove. I've been running my business for over 15 years now and I've always sided on my beliefs and it has served me well. For example, I had a client put down a deposit for a gig, but then they had to back out. I refunded them their entire deposit, no questions asked. It's the right thing to do. more

John Williams is a salesman for J&D Waterproofing. In his sales pitch he states that he works for a 'Christian' company. Don't believe it. In my honest opinion they need to practice more than they preach. more

J&D Waterproofing disrespectful, no integrity 4/3/2011

John Williams from J&D Waterproofing stated in his sales pitch that this is a 'Christian' company. Even before a date was set (no work was performed), we ran into problems (financial & otherwise) and they refused to refund our deposit ($1500!). I cannot recommend these people to anyone, regardless of their quality of work. more

Waterproofing services that we could afford 11/9/2005

When we had to get our basement waterproofed at our old house, we were concerned about the cost. Before the work, we had a small stream running across the basement floor! We found J & D to be reasonably priced and the work they did was great. They installed an internal french drain and sub-pump. They did such a fine job that the pump really never went on. We were very pleased with the results. We found the people we worked with to be professional and friendly. more
