Ixtapa Mexican Restaurant

My husband ordered Carne Asada and was served spoiled meat. The waiter was very nice and apologetic about the spoiled meat. However, the ""Owner/Manager"" was very nonchalant and unprofessional. He did not come over to apologize or offer to comp the meal. In fact, they offered my husband another meal but not on the restaurant. We are a military family so we have traveled outside and throughout this great country. We have been fortunate to experience fine cuisine coupled with excellent customer service . I am extremely disappointed and disgusted by the Owner/Manager's attitude. Not to mention, the food was mediocre in comparison to other Mexican restaurants that we frequent. If you are looking for authentic fresh Mexican food similar to what is served in California than Ixtapa is not the restaurant for you. Not to mention the manager had zero respect for a man that is an Iraqi War Veteran and continues to serve his country. If you are military or military family members, please do not support this restaurant, we have to stick together. I would not have taken the time to write this review if I was not bothered by the Owner/Manager's behavior and lack of respect for quality customer service. Ixtapa is not worth the money. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. The customer service was AWFUL. I could not believe how terribly management handled our very simple situation. There was a problem with one of our dishes, so we simply asked to have it replaced with the exact same thing. My guest had only taken one bite from the meal. The manager called us cheap, refused to replace the dish, and told us to NEVER come back. Furthermore, he had the audacity to stand over our table and watch us until we left.
