NO NO NO 9/20/2011

My experience at IVY spa wasn't very positive. My main concern was with the cleanliness of the locker room and shower area. I was DISGUSTED with how much hair there was (in addition to used razors, glasses, etc.). I brought up this issue with a management few days later and I was appalled by comments that were made. How can you excuse the fact that the spa is dirty? Or that the door in the steam room wouldn't close letting the hot air out? Or that towels were not restocked in the locker room? In addition, they offered us a $16 refund on $250+ services. As a business owner I would be embarrassed to offer such a compensation to my clients. Save yourself from a bad experience! There are much better spas in town! more

Nice, but aggressive sales that spoil the relaxation 12/21/2009

I enjoyed a pedicure and massage, and thought the women's lounge nice. I wanted a day spa where I could lounge between services and relax. The only part I did not like was that my masseuse spent half the massage talking about their special lotion and what a great price it was. She also pushed other products during the massage, and then pressed me more after it was over and I was trying to go back to the lounge to relax. I found it really unpleasant and partially ruined the massage. Pros: Nice atmosphere for a day spa Cons: Very pushy masseuse more
