Iveson, Kathleen, Md - Saguaro Physicians

Approximately 2 and one half years ago, I was feeling extremely tired and exhausted for most of the day. I would awakwn each morning, sit on the edge of my bed and cry wondering ""how"" I would make it through the day's work. I deteriated to the point to where I could no longer work. I went to Dr. Iveson for the first time a few months ago because I had issues with my period. She asked me a few questions and then with absolutly no examination sent me on my way telling me there was a good chance I had a growth of some sort and gave me the number to another Doctor who couldnt see me for another month. I was scared to death so I went to an OB/GYN that could see me the next day. The OB/GYN listened to me tell her the exact same thing I told Dr. Iveson and told me I was most likely fine. That because I am so young is why I was having issues. SHe preceded to run tests just to be safe. And I was fine. Cons: wont listen to you, will scare you unnecessarily more

I met Dr. Iveson because someone recommended her to my Mother. My Mother doesn't like going to see doctors and doesn't trust them very much, but she liked Dr. Iveson right away. My Mother felt she could call and talk to the staff and Dr. Iveson if something was wrong. Both the staff and Dr. Iveson treated my Mother with kindness and with attention to detail that made the difference, literally, between life and death for my Mother on two occasions. Now I too, see Dr. Iveson. She has helped me Immensely! When she has had to send me out to specialists, (about 5 of them now) all but one has been Absolutely Wonderful. Like Dr. Iveson, they too are kind doctors with good listening skills, able to talk with me about my diagnoses and what treatments were available. All are also extremely thorough in their testing and in explaining to me what the testing was for. You could tell, just like Dr. Iveson, they cared about their patients and our quality of life. Not only is Dr. Iveson great in her practice, but also likes to surround herself with like-minded doctors and specialists. She makes it easy to discuss even your most embarrassing health problems, will take you seriously and dig to find out what is wrong with you! Dr. Iveson gets my highest rating! more
