Ivar's Seafood Restaurant

I just had to write about Kent Ivar's Seafood Bar, because I love to bring my family there often, about once a week, in fact. I'm glad that we live nearby, because I grew up going to Ivar's on the Seattle waterfront ever since I was little. Kent Ivar's brings back that wonderful feeling that I had as a child. It smells so good when you walk in, that you can’t wait to taste their delicious fish ‘n chips! Their chowder is to die for - the best clam chowder in the world, and it is famous! I heard that they hand-cut their fresh fish every morning, and it is cut into generous portions. My stomach is always satisfied. And I love their coleslaw – I don’t like anyone else’s. The staff is friendly at Kent Ivar’s – the managers Kerry and Paul always call customers by their names. It makes me feel so welcome when I walk in, and they shout out, “Hi!’ with my name! Can you see that I love Kent Ivar’s? I wanted to give them a BIG shout-out, as the BEST there is! more

I love to go to Kent Ivar's. They serve the BEST seafood of ALL of the Ivar's restaurants! It's obvious that they take pride in their work. Food is expertly prepared, and served with a smile and a friendly word. When you first walk in, besides the delicious aroma of the food, you notice how sparkling clean it is, and seasonal decorations help to grace the ambiance, to make a truly friendly atmosphere! I am amazed that they call me by my name there, which makes me feel welcome. You'll feel the same way when you go there. They even have beautiful flowers planted outside, where it's fun to eat under their umbrellas on a sunny day! It's truly a ""fresh taste of the Seattle waterfront"" when you eat at Kent Ivar's!
