It's A Grind! is a great place for coffee for one reason....The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They will know you by name after just a few visits. The coffee is a few cents more than Starbucks, but equally as good. The baked goods are average. The coffee house has a nice atmosphere and is a good place to catch up with friends, read a book, or when the weather is nice, to sit outside and enjoy some java!! Located next to Sakekawa...the best Japanese in north Houston!!! Pros: friendly staff, great coffee, atmosphere Cons: a little pricey more

Cozy and Comfy Coffeehouse! 9/12/2005

I recently moved here from California where I left behind, among other things, my favorite coffeehouse. I could find a Starbucks everywhere I turned, but no place with GREAT coffee, GREAT staff and a comfy cozy ambience!! It's A Grind is a short drive from my house and I literally pass 3 Starbuck's on my drive over but it is SO worthi it!! I can't wait for my daughter and mom to visit this winter so we can have a Latte in front of the fire and visit for hours like we did back home!!! Pros: GREAT ?COFFEE, GREAT BAKED GOODS, COZY ENVIRONMENT! Cons: only 1 location, but worth the drive more
