Have been getting their pizza for over 20 years and it is still the best! Their sauce is delicious and they burn their crust just right! Try them for dinner, ample portions at decent prices. more

Wheres the meatball?? 12/13/2011

Today I picked up a Meatball Parm sub for lunch and paid over $7 for it. This is no joke....there was one whole meatball on a full sub and maybe at best another 1 1/2 in pieces. If I wanted plain Italian bread I could have gotten it next door at Xpect Discounts for $1. I have never in my life purchased a meatball sub so sorry looking. There should be 5-6 whole meatballs on a decent sub. What a waste of my hard earned money!! You couldnt pay me to go there again. Its just really insulting!! more

Italian Pavillion does have the best pizza in Derby. If you are looking for an Italian style pizza, look no further. Great pie. Anyone who says different doesn't know pizza! more

Italian Pavilion Restaurant is the best pizza in Derby 8/21/2009

We recently moved to Derby and avoided Italian Pavilion due to the negative reviews on this site. Then a friend said that we were missing out on the best pizza in Derby. I'm so glad we listed to that friend. Now IP is the only pizza place we order from. The food is always good and fresh. If you order to dine in the restaurant, it isn't any place fancy, but the service is always prompt and friendly. Please ignore the poor reviews. I agree with others that they must have been left by rivals. more

I have bee eating there all my life and have yet to find 1 reason that i should stop going there. The food is always fresh and made to order. Their lasagna is the bomb. more

Delicious pizza. I don't know what's up with these people. maybe a rival pizza place is running a smear campaign! pretty much every friday i get a hot, fresh and delicious pie from the nice people at Italian Pavilion! more

Dominos is much better! 11/2/2008

Staff always on cell phones or playing on the computer. Food is just below average (tasteless). Rude people (mainly the customers that frequent this place). Cars park near the door, makes it difficult if you are taking out an order with your hands full. Nobody seems to care at this place. I get better service at fast food establishments, better quality and price. more

Do not recommend! 2/19/2008

The last time we went there, we had been sitting at our booth for at least 5 minutes and no waitress came to take our order and even the pizza maker behind the counter ignored us and was watching TV!\r We walked out of there and never returned! He saw us walk out(we had to walk past him) and he did not say one word to us!\r therefore I cannot say that I'm surprised with the many bad reviews this business has gotten thus far. more

I think that their pizza is good.I don't come here very often,but I do know of people that come every week.The prices seem to be very reasonable.I never had any complaints about what I had to eat there. more

I don't understand why people are saying bad things about the Italian Pavilion in Derby, Ct.. It is the best food in town. I would not go to any other Restaurant or Diner. The owner is a very nice guy. The waitresses are the very best. more

Room For Improvement 7/19/2007

The menu selections are good and varied, but the service ranges from slow to non-existent. I ate there one dinner hour, had finished and wanted my check. The waitress chose to ignore me and spent 15 minutes cleaning off the other tables w/o checking to see if I was alright. more

Poor Service! 6/20/2007

The food here is o.k.-nothing to go crazy over.\r But they service by far is a good enough reason to avoid this place at all costs!\r I've been there with my family a couple times, and the service only got worse.\r Last time, my family and I were literally sitting for 5 minutes or more and there was no wait staff anywhere to be seen and the guy behind the counter who makes the pizzas looked at us, didn't say,"someone will be right with you"-said NOTHING, and looked away to watch the TV!\r I told my husband and kids that we were leaving and ate elsewhere!\r The guy didn't even care that we were walking out the door!\r Awful service! more

I can understand why they prices are so low.And they have this extra bargain. Buy 2 get 1 free. The cheese is weird tasting, I can't make out what kind of cheese it is. The sauce is no good either. Theier pizza is very cheap so I'm sure they're scrimping on something !\r And that something is quality, bring Rolaids if you come here. PROS: 0 CONS: more
