It was fun! 2/6/2008

I'm from LA and I visit Fresno every summer (family). I have to say, we had a great time at the waterpark! I have 3 kids, 1 of which is too small for the big slides and I had a blast with my little one at the kiddie area. Yes, it's hot, but we found plenty of shade. Maybe the other reviews are from previous visits, but we found shade to eat under and even air conditioned areas to hang out in. more

Ready to get wet 10/25/2005

The island is a great place to go for some good wet fun. They have lots of different slides to choose from and they have a floating pool that you can just float if slides are not your thing. They also have an area for the children which is very nice. The kids had lots of fun and so did we. They also have an arcade, pool table and miniature golf. The only drawback that I can see is that they do not have enough shade and enough seating areas. The prices are a little bit high but they do offer coupons throughout the season. more

Lets all go to the Island... 9/30/2005

The island is better than wild waters to me. I think that they have a better variety of slides. The only problem that I have with them....plan on getting sunburned even if you have sunblock on. There is like no shade here. No trees, or anything! I hope that they continue to work on that, but other than that, the place is not bad. Plus....all the kids love this place. Good price...and sometimes you can get in here free with coupons! more

Not as good as Wild Waters 8/17/2005

The Island is closer to my house than Wild Waters, but that doesn't make it worth it. There isn't much grass or shade like there is at Wild Waters. The atmosphere just seems a little lacking without many trees. The rides are all good fun of course, and very wet, as they should be. To me the price is kind of expensive, but they have coupons to help that, and also season passes if you plan on going more than a couple times - then it becomes worth the money. more
