Avoid this business. I took my vehicle to this garage while on vacation because my air conditioner quit on me. I was told the labor rate was $100 an hour. I asked how much the part was that was needed to fix my vehicle I received a quoted price of $250.00. I called a local parts store and was told that part cost $125.00. I understand that garages mark up prices on parts but a 100% mark up is crazy. I asked if I bought the part from the parts store (which was 3 miles away) would they install it. The garage agreed. I purchased the part and took it to them to install. They claimed the part was not the right part for my vehicle after rechecking with parts store and verifying that it was indeed the right part for my make model and year of vehicle the parts store sent another part to the garage in case the original was boxed wrong. The garage claimed that part too was not right. So my vehicle sat at the garage for 4 days and wasn?t fixed and I was charged $100 for diagnostics for the vehicle. The whole ordeal has left a bad feeling with me and my family. more

We were on vacation this summer when it was time for us to leave the car would not start and our rental was up we had to leave town there was know where else to stay and we live 4 hrs away.We call sevral places and they were closing or to busy to help. When I called Island auto repair they told me they were very busy and not sure if they could help Len [the owner] said he would call me back shortly if he could get someone to stay and help us. I thought sure he's call back there busy too, sure enough he did! They towed our car and found that it was a simple repair. I thought for sure I was at there mercy and this was going to cost alot. That is when the exceptional happened we had taken the kids for a walk on the boardwalk and it began to pure down rain they called my cell phone picked us up and then allowed My family and myself to go upstairs in his private office get dryed off and change our cloths this man does not know us from adam and made us feel like family. we vacation in ocean more
